Maintenance Manual
Product Care & Maintenance Instructions
To ensure your SIA Silk L products remain beautiful and last for years, proper care and maintenance are essential. Please follow these guidelines to keep your bedding, towels, and other textiles in the best condition:
Washing Instructions:
-
Turn Inside Out: Always turn your textiles inside out before washing. This helps protect the fabric from damage and maintains the softness and vibrancy of the material.
-
Wash Before First Use: For optimal results, wash your textiles separately before the first use to remove any excess fibers and to allow the fabric to settle.
-
Cold Water, Gentle Cycle: Use cold water and select a gentle cycle on your washing machine. This minimizes the risk of shrinkage or damage while keeping the colors bright.
-
Avoid Hot Water: Please avoid using hot water, as it may affect the fabric’s integrity and color. Cold water helps preserve the luxurious texture and quality of the fibers.
-
Wash with Similar Colors: To prevent color bleeding or transfer, always wash your items with similar colors. This ensures that your textiles stay vibrant and looking new for longer.
-
Do Not Soak: Avoid soaking the textiles for extended periods, as this can weaken the fabric and affect its texture.
-
No Bleach: Never use bleach or harsh detergents. Bleach can damage delicate fabrics and strip away their natural softness.
-
Rinse Thoroughly: Be sure to rinse the textiles thoroughly to remove all detergent residues. Leftover detergent can irritate sensitive skin and degrade the fabric over time.
-
Normal Spin Dry: You can use the normal spin cycle on your washing machine. This helps remove excess water while being gentle on the fabric.
Drying Instructions:
-
Low-Temperature Tumble Dry or Air Dry: If you choose to tumble dry, use a low-temperature setting. Alternatively, it is best to air dry your textiles in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Direct sunlight can fade colors over time.
-
Avoid High Heat: High-temperature drying can cause the fabric to shrink, lose shape, or weaken. Always use a lower heat setting to protect the fibers.
Ironing Instructions:
-
If Necessary, Iron Inside Out: If ironing is required, make sure to iron on the reverse side of the fabric to avoid direct heat on the outer surface. Use a low to medium heat setting when ironing.
-
Steam for Best Results: For a smoother finish, consider using a steam iron. This will help remove wrinkles without direct contact with the fabric, reducing the risk of damage.
By following these simple yet essential care steps, your SIA Silk L textiles will continue to enhance your home with elegance, comfort, and long-lasting beauty. Enjoy your luxurious home experience with the confidence that you are preserving the quality of your textiles.
